Kothri was developed during 2020, at the onset of Covid pandemic hit India; Stuck in a rented apartment in Delhi, the need to find space, move in space and find newness in the mundane loops of life, translated into changing the innards of the space; Shifting objects, beds, rooms, utensils; The chaotic overlapping of the household objects and paraphernalia, and the constant cleaning to make space felt like being trapped in a loop where nothing gets done, but just changes positions- parallel to my reality for a long time, like a self inflicted voyeurism with no escape.

The work was displayed at the Kochi Muziris Students' Biennale, 2020.
